What Buraq is

Private car rides, booked from your phone

Buraq Transportation Solutions is a ride-hailing service operating in Riverside, California. You enter where you are and where you are going, we show you the price, and you decide. A licensed driver in an inspected vehicle takes you there.

We carry people. We do not carry freight, and we are not a courier.

Price

You see the fare before the trip starts

Buraq quotes one number, up front, on the screen where you confirm the ride. That number covers the whole trip: the distance, the time on the road, and every fee. There is no meter running behind it and nothing is added at the end.

What the quote depends on is the trip itself. A longer route or a slower one costs more, the same way it does with any car service. Two published limits sit around it:

Prices are in US dollars and include all applicable fees. Tipping is optional and never added automatically.

Where we drive

Riverside, and the airport runs out of it

The service area covers the city of Riverside and the neighbourhoods around it. Airport trips run to Ontario (ONT) and to Los Angeles (LAX), and you can pick your terminal in the app before the driver sets off.

If your pickup or your destination falls outside the area, the app says so at the moment you enter it, not after you have waited.

Paying

Card only, charged when the ride ends

You add a card once. At booking we place a hold for the quoted fare; when the trip finishes we charge it and email you a receipt. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and Buraq never sees or stores your full card number.

On your statement the charge reads BURAQ RIDE.

Cancellations and refunds

What happens when a ride does not

• Cancel before a driver accepts and you pay nothing.
• Cancel after a driver is on the way and the $5.00 fee applies, because the driver has already been paid for the distance covered.
• If the driver cancels, or nobody arrives, you are not charged at all.
• If you were charged for a ride you did not take, write to us and we refund it to the same card. Refunds reach your bank in five to ten business days.

Privacy

What we keep, and for how long

To run a ride we hold your name, phone number, email address, and the pickup and drop-off points of your trips. Your location is read while you have a ride booked, so the driver can find you and you can watch the car approach. It is not read when you have no active ride.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. It goes to two places only: to the driver taking you, who sees your name and where you are going, and to Stripe, which processes the payment. Trip records are kept for seven years because tax and insurance rules require it.

Write to us and we will send you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account.

Terms

The agreement, briefly

Booking a ride is an agreement between you and Buraq Transportation Solutions. You must be eighteen or older to hold an account, and you are responsible for rides booked on it. Drivers may refuse or end a trip when a passenger is unsafe, threatening, or in breach of the law.

Buraq is a transportation service and is responsible for the rides it arranges. We cannot promise a car will always be available at a given moment.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
